Earlier this month, Our 5th Grade Head of Houses greeted students at AES and CSPS with some KIND affirmations to start their day. This was a celebration of World Kindness Day! We hope you were able to spread some kindness too!
Today, Ms. Wells' students put their creativity to work by designing their very own Thanksgiving Day parade balloons! Using tin foil, markers, and a lot of imagination, they crafted unique designs that they "inflated" using straws. The classroom was full of colorful creations and big smiles as they brought their mini-parade to life. 🦃💛 What a fun and festive way to celebrate the season!

Welcome to the OR!!! Mrs. Madison’s 5th grade class became doctors today at Hospital AES! They had 6 operations to complete using the order of operations before earning their doctor certificates!
Deputy Anthony and Service Learner student, Jaleigha Jones joined Ms Compton's class as they talked about Kindness. Students shared ways they can show kindness at school and home. They colored Kindness pictures and made cards for friends, teachers, and parents.
Today, our class was treated to a sweet surprise, thanks to one of our wonderful students! They went above and beyond by making friendship bracelets for each and every one of their classmates. The room was filled with smiles and excitement as everyone got to choose their own colorful bracelet, each one unique and special. 💖 #classroomkindness

AES staff enjoyed a HOUSE potluck by bringing in food of their HOUSE color!!!! Such a fun celebration! Some of us had to get really creative!
Mrs. Ransone's class earned enough house points to have a stuffed animal day and they voted in a mock election. Mrs. Ransone even had a write-in vote!

During Red Ribbon Week, we celebrated Don’t Get Caught Up in Bad Choices. We demonstrated this by wearing crazy outfits and having some Halloween fun.
