Hello everyone! ☀️ We hope you are soaking up these last few weeks of summer!

We just wanted to share a quick reminder that we are still raising money to bring classroom ukuleles to our music room! 🎶 We are now halfway to our goal, which is so exciting!

Our hope is to have this project fully funded by the end of September so we can have ukuleles ready for our students to use during the spring semester. We still need your help to make this happen! Whether you are able to donate or simply share this post, every little bit helps us get closer to our goal.

A huge thank you to everyone who has already donated and supported this project. Your generosity means so much and will help bring more opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and music-making to our students! ❤️🎵 Just click on the link to share or donate!

It's the first week of Summer. Do you know where your teacher is?

Several of the CSPS and AES teachers attended a HOUSE conference at Greenwood Elementary School yesterday. It was an exciting day of 90's throwback, HOUSE engagement, and fun! We can't wait to get started next year.

Thank you, teachers, for your hard work and dedication to bringing fun and engagement to our schools. Now, go and take some time to recharge. We'll see you soon.

We had an amazing end to the 25-26 school year with our end-of-year HOUSE Pep Rally. House Huruma won the most house points for Quarter 4, House Tatonka won the most house points for the year, House Valor won the Spirit Stick Award, The Huruma Elephant won the Mascot Dance-off, the new HOUSE Leaders were announced, Mr. Stone (1st Grade) won for most points submissions for Quarter 4, and Mrs. Baker (AES PE) won the Lighthouse Award. We can't wait to see what next year holds.

🎵We are so close to our goal for classroom ukuleles! Thank you to those who have already donated! We have had some amazing donations. Thanks to the Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation, which supports schools in rural areas, they are doing dollar-for-dollar match offers while funds last. This means that they will match your donation 100%, so if you donate $10 they will also donate $10!

If we have 50 people donate $10 or 25 donate $20, we will reach our goal to get classroom ukuleles for our music students! Please consider donating or sharing with friends and family!

Again, thank you so much!

🎶 Exciting things are coming to our music classroom! 🎶

Ukuleles are an engaging, accessible instrument that can help elementary students build skills in rhythm, melody, harmony, creativity, collaboration, and confidence. Because of their size and simple learning curve, students are able to experience success quickly — making music class even more fun and motivating!

Our goal is to incorporate ukuleles into general music instruction and grade-level performances beginning next spring semester. This hands-on experience would give students opportunities to sing, play, perform, and develop lifelong musical skills in a meaningful and exciting way. We truly believe adding ukuleles to our classroom will open the door to new musical experiences our students will remember for years to come!

🎵 For the next 7 days, donations will be DOUBLED when you use the promo code LIFTOFF at checkout! 🎵

Please consider supporting our students by scanning the QR code or clicking the link below to donate. Every contribution helps bring music to life for our students! ❤️
