Welcome to the NEST, Ms. Nugent! Ms. Nugent is joining us from northern Virginia. She recently relocated to King William.
A fun fact about Ms. Nugent is that she holds a USA field hockey level one coaching certification! She's been a high school varsity head coach and also coached travel field hockey up in northern VA!
This year, Ms. Nugent is most excited to build relationships with families and become part of the King William community.

The last day of school began with our end-of-the-year House Pep Rally. We had games, celebrations, and a whole lot of excitement. New Heads of Houses were crowned, and the points winners were announced. Congratulations to House Ozawa for winning the Mummy Wrap relay and for being the House Points winner for the second semester. Congratulations to House Tatonka for winning the Hoola hoop relay, and congratulations to House TORTUGA for winning the overall House points for the year. What a great way to end the 24-25 school year!

Ms. Klakos' class had so much fun during Glow Day!

Ms. Klakos’ class placed second in field day!
Way to go Eagles! 🦅 💕

Acquinton's Field Day is Tuesday, May 20th. I am excited to have our 2nd Grade students from Cool Spring joining us. I look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday. 🌞
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Mrs. Baker 💚🦅🤍

Mrs. Belvin's 5th graders have been practicing their persuasive and descriptive writing skills in a creative way—by designing their very own islands on Canva! During presentations, students cleverly tried to win her over by featuring her favorite dog, the Rottweiler. Fantastic work, 5th grade… such smart and thoughtful thinking!

Bartholomew and the Oobleck! Ms. Wells' class had an exciting time today diving into the story, Bartholomew and the Oobleck, and then bringing oobleck to life!

Congratulations to Ms. Klakos' class for earning the Highest Growth Award on the end of the year iReady Diagnostic in Math. Yoop, an iReady character, will be a student in the class for the next 2 weeks as well. Great job Eagles!

Last Friday, Mrs. Belvin's 5th-grade class had the most wonderful "Mystery Reader"! Thank you, Mrs. Mitchell!

On Thursday, May 8th King William County Public Schools held their 2nd annual Teacher of the Year/Retiree Banquet. The group enjoyed fellowship and the opportunity to celebrate many teachers and staff. We would like to thank our Retirees for their many, many years of dedication to our students and schools. Enjoy your time!
We would also like to congrat the receipents of each school for being selected as Teacher of the Year for your individual schools.
Big Congrats goes to Mrs. Amy Hood, King William High School for being selected as the Teacher of the Year for King William County.
We would like to shout out to Dixon's Automotive (along with other King William businesses) for putting together a basket of gift cards and goodies for the receipent of Teacher of the Year. We would also like to think Horace Man and Heiff Jones for their sponsorship contribution to the banquet. As always a thank you to All Stewed Up Catering who catered the food for the second year in a row.
