School Social Work Week 2025 celebrates the collective power and passion of school social workers who unite communities to ignite positive change in the lives of students, families, and schools. This year’s theme, “Unite to Ignite: Celebrating our Impact,” highlights the vital role school social workers play in fostering connections, advocating for equity, and driving social and emotional growth.
This week, KWCPS celebrates Michelle Bensen and Tierra Harvey-Candia, who go above and beyond to support our students, families, and staff! They provide vital resources and guidance, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment. We appreciate their dedication and compassion this week and always. Thank you for all you do!

A huge shoutout to our phenomenal maintenance team on Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day! KWCPS extends our gratitude and thanks to Tony Stone, Tony Arizzi, Chris Wrenn, and Ryan Gault! You're the first to respond to emergencies, the experts at keeping our buildings in top shape, and the friendly faces who always lend a hand. We appreciate your tireless efforts in creating a safe and welcoming learning environment for everyone!

Mrs. Jones' 4th Grade Class collaboratively worked with their teams to multiply whole numbers by unit fractions during a game of capture the flag.
A big thank you to our Service Learning students from KWHS for providing beneficial support during the activity!
