King William XC had a great season opener last night competing against 3 other schools. Bringing in first place out of the 3 boys teams competing were Jeremy Mace (1st) with a time of 18:12, Trent Mace (2nd) Henry Kite (4th), Joel Barber (11th) and JD Carson (12th) out of the 41 boys running.
The girls took second place out of the 2 teams. Taking the lead for King William was Regan Walpole who placed 5th out of the 30 girls running. Rounding out the top five scoring members of the team were Callie Hurson, Logan Johnson, Alexis Hassler and Katie Simal.
There were many individual goals met and surpassed last night and we are looking forward to a great season.

Just a reminder that schools are closed August 30 and September 2 for the Labor Day Holiday.
