The last XC race of the regular season took place this last Wednesday at Middlesex with 20 of our runners finishing with their best race time for the season. For many of our runners this was their final race and we are so proud of what they have accomplished this year. Boys team took second place by just a few points. Leading the team was Jeremy Mace, Henry Kite, DJ Harris, Grady Heinsman and Joel Barber. Kellan Silva and Jameson Tetrault also helped bring in the final score. The girls team took third place led by Logan Johnson, Alexis Hassler, Callie Hurson, Katie Simal and Lilly Anthony. Congratulations, Annabelle Townsend, for competing at the VHSL Girls Open Championships at the beautiful Gauntlet Golf Club in Fredericksburg today. As the only female KW golfer, she faced the unfamiliar 18-hole course without the rest of her KWHS team, but she persevered and finished her KWHS golf career in strong fashion.
